Refacing is not one standardized product. Materials, finish, hardware, joinery, and final fit determine how the kitchen looks, moves, and holds up over time.
Exposed face frames are an important part of the cabinet’s appearance. We use 1/4-inch solid wood, stained or painted, to give those surfaces a substantial finish that respects the construction. We can often cover more of the frame, but we work within the limits of the existing cabinetry.
Your doors, face-frame wood, panels, and trim arrive prefinished. We install those finished components in your home. For frameless edge banding, we select a close color match to the surrounding finish.

We’ll explain the options and share choices other customers have been happy with. Our role is to inform and guide. The final choice should feel right to you.

We assess the cabinets, compare samples, and measure your kitchen. Your written quote follows the visit.
After your deposit, we take detailed measurements and finalize selections before ordering.
We order the prefinished components and arrange your installation week once the supplier confirms timing.
We install, align, and finish the cabinetry, usually in two to five days. Countertops follow an additional schedule.
Compare profiles, surfaces, colors, and hardware as one coordinated palette.
We bring samples to the initial home visit so you can compare materials and finishes in the room where they will live. If there’s something specific you’d like to see, we’ll bring it to the detailed measurement appointment.

We can often cover more of the face frame, but the cabinets retain their original construction. We’ll explain the appearance that’s achievable with your kitchen.
We can make selected changes as part of a full project, including changes to islands and peninsulas, removing upper cabinets, and adding storage. We’ll assess what is practical for your kitchen. Any required electrical, plumbing, or ventilation work is handled separately.
Those additions are available as part of full projects. We don’t offer them as standalone jobs.
Lead time depends on materials and our schedule. We’ll discuss current timing with you and choose an installation week once we have the supplier’s ETA. Refacing itself usually takes about three days, with a typical range of two to five. New countertops require additional time.
Expect limited kitchen use, noise, and dust during installation. If countertops are being replaced, the sink and dishwasher may also be unavailable between removal and the completion of installation and separate plumbing reconnection. We’ll explain the sequence for your project.
Clear the countertops and empty the drawers. Clear items around hinges and empty cabinets receiving pull-outs. Remove other cabinet contents if you want to avoid dust on them. We’ll discuss access and a suitable setup area for tools. Any necessary disconnections must be arranged separately before the affected work begins.
You’ll deal directly with an owner-operator. We have no salespeople.
We’ll assess whether repairs or limited box replacement make sense. If the damage is widespread or new cabinets would be the better choice, we’ll tell you.
